It has been a good day if you are a City fan! It's back in our own hands! If we win the next 3 games we are Champions. No-one saw that coming a few weeks back when we were 8 points behind. We got called bottle jobs and everything but we kept going whilst Utd have stuttered! 1 win in 3 from them whilst we won 3 and scored 12 in the process.
Goals today from Aguero and Nasri. It was a nervy game actually thanks to some poor finishing early on but we got the result. Unfortunately at the expense of Wolves who were relegated today and my sympathies go out to them and their fans.
As Mancini said, the title race is over. ;)
As a 50 yr old Blue, remembering well when Bell Lee and Buzzer regularly kicked Best Law and Charlton's arse all over town, I feel that the time is now. Enough of playing second fiddle to Stretford United. Mancini might be playing mind games but we all knoe the importance of next Monday. For once Moyes and his boys didn't roll over and play dead. I've got a feeling Slumberland, now they've sacked the desperate Mrs Doubtfire, won't cave in to them either. But Mighty City, it is really down to you. This could be the start of a dominance that Chelsea, The Arse and the rags could only dream of. COME ON YOU BLUES!
ReplyDeleteWell said Micky! I never had the chance to see them play but I am loving the current City. I grew up watching the bad times, even just a few years ago fighting relegation but now we are ready to knock Utd off their perch. What will they do when Fergie goes? ;) CTID
